DEM Sports at Hackney and Lords

DEM Sports - an exciting week at Hackney Marshes and Lords

DEM Sports were pleased to have a presence at Hackney Marshes this week, at the World Cricket Festival organised by the charity, Capital Kids Cricket (CKC).   CKC organised this festival to attempt a new Guiness World Record for the number of children receiving cricket coaching at the same time.   DEM Sports has worked in partnership with CKC to install cricket practice nets in a number of schools in the London boroughs, and was pleased to be on site on Monday to talk to sports teachers about the products we offer and our support for youth-based initiatives.

Also this week, we’ve been excited to see our new, bespoke designed Combi cages (a mix of a static cage and a folding concertina cage) in use at Lords, for practice sessions for the Cricket World Cup.  Lords required a specific size and style of cage – longer than usual, with the nets hanging inside the metal frame rather than outside – which we were delighted to be able to provide.   Feedback from the ground staff and players has been universally positive, and demonstrates our commitment to versatility and innovation.
